Information Smooth uses

Smooth receives your signed-in site identity, including your account identifier and email address. When you add a flight, it stores the selected flight details and your update preferences so they can appear in another browser where you use the same signed-in account.

Email sign-in

Supabase manages email sign-in and account sessions. Resend delivers one-time sign-in emails to the address you provide. Smooth uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. These emails are for account access, not marketing.

Information saved on your device

Your browser stores the selected flight, preferences, notification choices, and any flight brief you save for airplane mode. Offline briefs remain on that device until browser data is cleared or replaced.

Flight and weather providers

When you search for or refresh a flight, Smooth sends the flight number and date to its flight-data provider. Airport surface-weather requests use the relevant airports and scheduled times. Smooth labels unavailable data rather than treating airport weather as a turbulence forecast.

Billing

Stripe processes checkout and billing-portal sessions. Smooth stores the Stripe identifiers and entitlement state needed to confirm access. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Smooth.

How information is used

Information is used to find and display your flight, sync the selected flight and preferences, provide offline access on your device, confirm paid access, and show useful flight updates.

Your choices

You can disable notifications in your browser, clear saved offline information through your browser settings, and manage or cancel an Unlimited subscription in the Stripe billing portal. To request account deletion or ask about your data, email team@noise.com from the email address associated with your Smooth account. Account deletion requests are handled by our team; there is no automatic deletion button.
